Oh wow, we got so much done this afternoon. Thank God for Billy's strong arms and back. He loaded the van at my mom's and then unloaded it here, while I boxed stuff. We hauled over from my mom's basement a big wooden coffee table, both van seats (they weigh a couple of tons each), boxes, and cleaned up lawn furniture. Tomorrow we get the bed and any other boxes or small stuff. Wednesday we load the conference table and bow flex into the van; we will leave those in the van for the movers to unload into the truck. I think tomorrow we will need to disconnect the washer too, so the hoses can drain... Mom, we may need to do a small load or two of laundry at your place Thurs evening.
We are going to stay at my mom's Thursday evening and start for ND Friday morning. We plan to drive 9 or so hours Fri, the same Sat, and the rest Sun morning. Hopefully we can close on the house Mon July 20th. Wed is my last day to work at Chatt State. They are having a going away party for me, and Billy and my mom are coming too. Also, we received an e-mail form the bank lady and the appraiser has looked at the house, but has not submitted his report yet. I hope we hear back about that tomorrow, but it may be Wednesday.
We took Sabrina to the vet today for her annual shots and to get a health certificate. She took a swipe at the vet as she was getting back into the carrier. Apparently she didn't like the vet tucking her tail into the carrier. If she had had claws on that front paw, his hand would be in ribbons. She had her brows pulled down into this really sullen looking scowl.
